It is with immense heartbreak and sadness that we would like to share the passing of our beloved brother , son and friend Josiah (Jojo) Rivas on January 29th 2026.

Josiah was plagued with many things unspoken that weighed heavy on his heart and mind. Despite that - he always put on a brave smile and sought to help others around him, especially his family and friends.

He made it his life’s mission to bring people joy, to understand people and to bring comfort even if it was at his own expense.

Jojo was not only the purest of souls but he was the realest of souls. He was genuine, compassionate and kind. Anyone who knew him can attest to that. He had a heart that cared deeply and a spirit that desired peace. He loved harder than any of us ever could imagine and he will forever be the greatest gift we have ever received.

Jojo may not physically be here but through our Christian faith through Christ we truly know that he lives forever through our memories, the love he shared that still resonates through our hearts, the laughter we still hear and the way he made us feel.

We seek to raise money to cover funeral expenses, memorial expenses and to give him the farewell he truly deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us ease our financial burden during this incredibly difficult time.
