This fundraiser is for John Raniowski. You may know him as JA, Doc Ski, Papa, or Director. John gave nearly 25 years serving in the Navy. Upon retiring, John continued to serve and has given over 13 years to developing, creating, and sustaining the Hero Kids Foundation, which uses nature-based therapy approaches to help children of military and first responder families.

John has given everything to others, without ever asking for anything in return. So I am going to ask. In October, John will turn 60, and we are trying to send him to his ancestral country of Poland. John has always wanted to visit the country but instead would give his time, resources, and commitment to the military, his family, or the foundation. John has not taken more than a 3-day vacation in over 20 years.

We are trying to raise $5000 for airfare, hotels, food, tours, and general transportation for a 10-day trip. If we surpass the goal, I will upgrade John's trip (air class, hotel, guided tours, etc.) and give remaining funds to the Hero Kids Foundation.

Anyone who gives $250 or more will have their name placed on a shirt that John will wear to Poland. On the front, the shirt will say: I am going to Poland because these people have my back. And on the back of the shirt will be everyone's name.

Please help me show John that all his selfless efforts are appreciated by giving to him for a trip of a lifetime to Poland.
