John Caldwell was my friend and mentor, and his impact on the lives of many others was profound. During the weekday, he was the founder and executive chairman of RPE, a creative agency offering expert strategic guidance and execution for marketing programs and the owner of Alan's Artisan Soaps, a company he launched in honor of his son Alan, who suffers from a rare genetic disorder that makes his skin sensitive to textures and artificial ingredients. John also served in many leadership roles at local yacht clubs in Southern California. One of his favorite projects was taking underprivileged kids out to sea and teaching them how to sail. From bringing masks, gloves and antibacterial supplies to friends and loved ones during COVID, to listening to your story to see how he could help and to always looking for a way to send the elevator back down and lift someone else up, John will be greatly missed.
After a long and courageous battle with cancer, John passed away, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, and dedication. To honor his memory and support his family, we are raising funds to purchase a mobility device for his son Alan and to set up a scholarship fund for his son Ian. These contributions will help ensure that John's youngest children have the support and opportunities they need during this difficult time.
Your support will make a meaningful difference for John's family as they navigate this loss. Thank you for considering a donation or sharing this fundraiser to help us honor John's legacy and provide for his two youngest sons.
