My brother Johnny Navarro was a truly unique and genuine person. After passing away following surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center, our family is heartbroken and hoping to honor his memory in the way he would have wanted. Johnny touched the lives of family, friends, and even strangers he met daily at the market or around town. He was known for his kind heart and generosity—if he thought you needed something, he would give it to you, no matter how small. It was never about the price, but about the thought and care he put into every gesture. He made a special effort to find or create things he thought you would like, and his creativity shone through in everything he did. Johnny loved making his own clothes, designing and painting them to be different and original. He wore necklaces, crosses, and the rosary with pride, always expressing himself in his own way. He didn’t care what others thought—he was always himself, genuine and original. Now, as we try to fulfill his wishes for his funeral, we are reaching out for help. Any support you can offer to help us cover the costs of his funeral services and honor his memory would mean so much to our family.
