honoring John Wolf with medical costs and final journey

It is with deep sadness to announce that my husband, John Wolf, passed away peacefully at home in the early hours of Friday (6/14). I’ve lost my best friend, the love of my life… and my world will never be the same. We met 34 years ago next month on my birthday.

During this sad and challenging time, I’m asking for any help that you can offer to help ease the financial burdens and as a way to honor the passing of John. Your donation, no matter the size, will help off-set the medical costs that were growing everyday that were associated with his many years of fighting heart failure and to assist with burial plans.

This year marked the sixth anniversary of John’s heart transplant, following years of decline. The anti-rejection medications for the transplant led to John’s kidney failure in December 2022. At that time he began dialysis to stay alive. The last year and a half were very tough with him being admitted to the hospital seven times for serious medical complications, that included stent surgery for two aneurysms in his lower aorta, an antibiotic resistant E. Coli infection picked up at the hospital, multiple embolisms in his right lung and DVTs in his right leg last November.

John was a talented and kind person, who had a passion for living. He changed my life and I will miss him forever
