On April 14th, 2026, the world became a lot more dim with the loss of an extraordinary man. John Walker lived his life in a way that no words can convey the loss his family, his friends, and his community feel.

This GoFundMe is set up to support Sam, Ava, and Maverick as they navigate a life without John. In life, John made sure that others were always put first, and it’s now our turn to return the favor to ensure that his family is taken care of.

The funds will cover the immediate needs such as funeral costs and upcoming bills until all particulars that come with end of life are settled. All additional funds will be utilized to ensure that Sawyer’s Festival continues to run as it will bring healing to Sam, Ava, Maverick and the Walker family.
