My dad, John Pratt, was a proud Vietnam veteran and dedicated 30 years of his life working at NID. He was a caring father and a committed member of our community, always willing to help others. One of the things he loved most was volunteering with the American Legion, where he often helped with funerals for fellow veterans. He also had a creative side, spending hours painting small Civil War figures, a hobby that brought him a lot of joy and peace.

His sudden passing has left our family in shock. We are doing our best to honor his memory and give him the farewell he deserves, but the costs of the funeral at Hooper and Weaver mortuary are more than we can manage on our own. Your support would mean so much to us during this difficult time, helping us celebrate his life and service in a way that truly honors him.
