With heavy hearts, we share the news of John Morgan’s passing.
Born June 14th, 1940, and passing on December 11th, 2025
John was more than just a neighbor—he was a friend, papa, mentor, life partner, and the trusted local mechanic.
John came to our Western Navajo reservation community from Colorado on April 1st, 1971. He quickly fell in love with the people here and never left. Setting up a tire shop in Gap, Arizona, John became a fixture in our lives, always ready to lend a hand and keep our cars running. He was also a proud Navy Veteran, serving both our country and our community with dedication and kindness throughout his 85 years.
John’s presence touched everyone. We grew to know and appreciate him, and he became family to us all. The love he gave was returned by everyone who knew him, and his absence leaves a deep void in our hearts. As we gather to remember John, we feel the loss keenly, but we also celebrate the life he lived and the impact he had on so many.
We will be gathering on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, at the Gap Chapter House at 4 PM to discuss funeral preparations and share memories of our beloved John.
Donations for funeral expenses are greatly appreciated, and your support will help us honor John’s memory in the way he deserves.
Thank you for your kindness and support during this difficult time. Further meetings are yet to be determined. Reach out for further info or if you have questions on Facebook (Trevor Tsinnijinnie).
