We are heartbroken to share the unexpected passing of a beloved husband, father, and friend, John Matsuzaki, who tragically passed away while participating in a youth football activity at church. A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and influential within his community, John’s life was centered around faith, service, and love. Originally from Hawaii and currently residing in California, he leaves behind his cherished wife and four children, aged 13 to their early 20s. John was known for his generosity, warmth, and unwavering kindness—always ready to lend a helping hand and brighten a room with his spirit. As the family navigates this difficult time, this fundraiser will assist with funeral expenses, celebrate his life following his unexpected passing, ease the burden, and return him to his island home.
