The family kindly requests that donations be made to assist with the unexpected funeral expenses in John's honor. John wished to be buried at his families catholic cemetery a long side his brother and parents.
Donations will be used to pay for burial, tombstone, funeral services, catholic mass, and any left over money will go to help his son, Sam finish college.
John Henry Kitchin, Sr., age 62, of Woodbury, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ.
John dedicated his life to the skilled trades, working as both a Diesel Mechanic and a Landscaper. He spent many years with Zeisloft Trucking and Rock Products in West Deptford, NJ, where his expertise and strong work ethic were well-regarded.
Beyond his professional life, John found peace in the tranquility of water. He cherished the time spent caring for his various pools over the years, creating a space for himself and others to enjoy. A true friend to all, John adored animals, sharing a special bond with his three beloved companions: Apple, Chumlee, and Charlie who brought him endless joy and companionship. Most importantly John loved a good laugh always making himself or others smile.
John's legacy of love and connection lives on through his devoted family. He is survived by his sons, John Henry Kitchin, Jr. and his wife Nicole, and Samuel James Kitchin, by his granddaughters, Emily and Ella Kitchin, by his spouse, Theresa Kozuba Kitchin. He will be deeply missed by his siblings, Francis Kitchin and his wife Mary, Walter Kitchin and his wife Theresa, Rose Kitchin, and Johanna Roane, as well as numerous cherished nephews, nieces, and many supportive friends who supported him.
He was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Rosemarie (nee Mahoney) Kitchin, his son, Joseph Manna (Joey), and his brother, James Miles (Jimmy) Kitchin.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate John’s life and offer their support during the visitation on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:45 am at the Church of the Incarnation, located at 240 Main St, Mantua Township, NJ 08051. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at 11:00 am at the church, followed by interment at New St. Mary's Cemetery, 515 W. Browning Rd, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to assist with the unexpected funeral expenses in John's honor. Additionally, the family will be making a contribution to the Cooper Medical Center for welcoming him with open arms and creating a family for 35+ years.
John's love for nature, his kind spirit, and the deep affection he held for his family and friends will be dearly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace and happiness.
