our father, John Harlan died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. He spent his last years trying make up being a dad and was a grandfather to all of our kids. Unfortunately John didn’t have any plans for his post life. John wants to be cremated and laid to rest with his mother. We asking for any help so that the burden doesn’t lay solely on anyone and he gets his final wish going to those pearly gates. Any help is appreciated. John Harlan wasn’t the easiest man, if you knew him. Hearing people talk about young John always made us children chuckle, because some of those stories aren’t so pretty, and he wasn’t the perfect father, but he spent the last 5 years trying to make up for it by helping when he can and spending time with his grandkids. We will miss him dearly and appreciate any help anyone has to give.
