Since 2021, my cousin Krissy has said goodbye to her brother (Shaun Clarke), mother (Carla Clarke) and recently her dad (my uncle John). She is now walking through a kind of quiet that no one should have to face.
Over the last few years, she has carried grief upon grief — and now she is also carrying the responsibility of putting everything to rest. It’s heavy in ways most of us will never fully understand.
In honoring uncle John’s memory, we ask simply that you keep Krissy close in your thoughts. For those who have asked how to help, support toward final expenses is appreciated — but most of all, compassion and presence mean everything.
Instead of flowers, we wanted to create a space where people can show up in a practical way. If you feel led to give, it will help ease some of the expenses left behind. If not, your prayers, messages, and kindness mean just as much.
More than anything, we want her to feel surrounded — not alone.
