In Loving Memory of John Charles Alexander
May 7, 1981 – March 2, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, John Alexander, on March 2, 2025. Born on May 7, 1981, in 29 Palms, California, John touched the lives of many with his kind and loving spirit.
John was known for his creative mind and generosity. He was always respectful and responsible, qualities that made him a cherished friend, son, and brother. As a father, he was extraordinary, providing endless love and support to his dear daughter, Avalynn.
He is survived by his loving parents, Roberto and Frances Quinones, his father, Edward (Susan) Alexander and his loving wife Darcy Alexander. He was a devoted brother to his siblings, Isalys, Cristina (Jon), and Noah, who will forever hold him in their hearts. He also leaves behind uncles, aunts, cousins and friends, who cherish him deeply.
John was a graduate of Monterey High School in Monterey, CA and San Diego State University. He was a senior graphic UX engineer at ServiceNow. He had a brilliant mind and excelled in all things coding related. He could pick up a technical book and complete all certifications on record time. He loved art and design. His latest passions were the ukelele, rock climbing, soccer and a 3D printer. He loved travelling, attending music festivals and camping. His favorite camping site was Joshua Tree National Monument.
John's kind nature and loving presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and through the love and lessons he imparted to his daughter.
Rest in peace, dear John. You will always be remembered for the joy and kindness you brought into our lives.
We are asking that in lieue of flowers, those who wish can contribute to his daughter's college fund. Our sole focus right now is Avalynn. That is the way he would like to be remember. We will be communicating privately on a celebration of life. We are thankful for the love for our son. Sincerely, Roberto and Frances
