Our hearts are broken beyond words as we face the loss of our beloved Joey. He had a heart of gold, a smile that could light up any room, and a kindness that touched everyone who knew him. Joey was always the first to help others, always willing to give the shirt off his back, and always there with love, strength, and compassion. Even through his struggles, he remained full of spirit and grace.
 
To us, Joey was more than a brother, a son, a friend — he was a blessing. He was my best big brother, my protector, and my closest friend. We were two peas in a pod, and I will carry him in my heart forever. In his final words, he expressed his love and gratitude for his family and friends, and that is the memory we will hold onto always.
