Honoring Joey's Giving Spirit
Donation protected
Joseph Paul Escobar
August 11, 1981 - April 6, 2025
Joey crossed the door at sunset with his best friends and family at his side. We held his hand, showed him love, and played his songs. Young in age, his weary body could no longer carry his spirit. Our Joey is now safe at home with his mom, Rosie Escobar, Alex(nephew) and his beloved puppies in the house of the Lord. Joey shined brightest and raged against the dying light… He has risen to the cosmos like a spectacular nebula against the darkness of space, the remnants of his light shining ever after.
Joey cared for others more than himself; he was generous with his heart and gave until there was none. In his time here on earth, Joey took care of others in sickness, fed those who were hungry, and sheltered those without.
Joey is survived by his loving partner, Tony G; cousin Sonya; sister Becky; nephews Anthony, Michael, and Nicky; and his best friend and fraternity brother, Tony T, and children Anthony, Eva, and Aiden, whom he treated as his own.
