It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Joey Mejia on November 25, 2025. Born in 1985, Joey brought so much joy into the world during his 40 years of life. He was a loving son, father, brother, Tío, and cousin, and he meant something special to everyone who knew him.

Joey was full of life—always laughing, joking, and bringing a smile to others. He had a personality that lit up any room he walked into. His sense of humor and his big heart made him unforgettable.

His passing was the result of an unfortunate illness, and it happened far too soon. As our family struggles with this heartbreaking loss, we are trying to honor Joey’s memory in the most respectful way possible. We are asking for support to help with funeral and memorial expenses so we can give him the beautiful farewell he deserves.
