This fundraiser was created on behalf of Michele for Joe Arehart.

On December 10th, one day after his 73rd birthday, Joe made his final decent to heaven. For those who don't know, Joe was born and raised in Elwood Indiana spending his whole life rooted in the city. For fun he would fish, play pool, a game of cards or hang out with friends. Joe had many people who adored him and looked to him. Losing Joe has shaken all of us in ways we never imagined. He was truly one of the most carefree, gentle, and loving souls to ever walk this earth. Whether it was sharing a goofy joke, offering a listening ear, or quoting Forest Gump, Joe had a way of making life feel a whole lot lighter. Joe is survived by his son, grandchildren, and long time partner of 15 years Michele.

Any donation big or small would benefit Joes memorial and help Michele though the financial hardship she will soon face.
