When it was time to go to lunch at Eastwood High School in El Paso, TX back in the early 1980's, there was always a brown Mustang hatchback full of passengers that was driven by our good friend, Joel Rodriguez. When someone needed help with a job, a move, or some financial assistance, there was always a name that came up to reach out to, Joel Rodriguez. The time has come to return the favor to our dear friend who passed away on 2/22/26 at the age of 59 after a 3 year battle against 2 terminal illnesses.

Joel's family has not only been left with the emotional devastation of losing Joel, but also with a terrifying financial burden that terminal illnesses leave in their wake. All GoFundMe proceeds will be used by Joel's family to relieve the financial burden incurred by the myriad of hospital visits and medical specialists not covered by insurance.
