Joe Edward Mosier, age 87, of Jonesborough, Tennessee, passed quietly into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 25, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s. He was a faithful husband, son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, friend, and most importantly, a Christ-like servant-leader. He was a blessing from God to all who knew him, whether he was assisting folks in banking, pumping gas at the old Sulphur Springs Bay Station, serving in his church, being a loyal friend and mentor, or just being the best “Pappaw” in the world. This fund is set up as an alternative to flowers to assist with his final expenses and the care and needs of his loving wife of nearly 61 years, Janice Mosier.
