I am writing on behalf of the Boone family and friends for the much-loved Joe Boone. Joe passed away suddenly on Friday, December 12th, leaving his beloved wife and children to grieve his absence.
Joe has always been the kind of person to show up for others without hesitation. He was a natural caregiver, a need-filler, and the most excellent example of what it means to be loyal, dependable, and compassionate. As an Air Force veteran, he embodied the branch’s core values: integrity first, service before self, excellence in all things.
Joe loved his family deeply and his death leaves a gaping hole in the hearts of those who know him and love him, near and far.
Because Joe's passing was so sudden, Linda finds herself faced with unexpected expenses and ongoing costs that will quickly become overwhelming. She cannot afford these expenses without our support due to the funeral costs and loss of Joe’s income now that he is gone.
Linda and the family would never ask for help for themselves, but as someone who loves them (among many more!), I want to ask you to help however you can, to ease even a small part of this burden. All funds raised will go directly toward medical bills, living expenses, and basic necessities so Linda and the family can focus on grieving and getting through each day without Joe, while they navigate their way to a new normal.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, means more than we can express. If you’re able to donate, thank you. Thank you for supporting Linda and the family during this difficult time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support, and generosity.
