Jody Spring Hartjen, age 48, passed away on February 12, 2026. Born on October 6, 1977, to James Lewis Hartjen and Helen Theresa Scarbrough, Jody was known for her creative spirit and her love of drawing and sewing. She found joy in expressing herself through art and handmade creations, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Jody's warmth and creativity touched the lives of her family and friends, and her memory will be cherished forever.
She is survived by her loving mother, Helen Theresa Scarbrough Crenshaw, and stepfather, Howard Crenshaw, both of Georgiana, Alabama; her daughter, Angel Maroone of Georgiana, Alabama; two brothers, James Bonifay of South Florida and Mike Dunn of Pensacola, Florida; one sister, Destiny Dunn of Arkansas; and one cherished grandchild, Rhiannon Campbell of Georgiana, Alabama. Services will be announced at a later date, and Keahey Funeral Home of Andalusia, Alabama is entrusted with the arrangements.
