On June 13th, 2024 the world lost a tremendous man who touched so many lives. Jimmy-James Smith (Seamus), was a hero, a leader, a marine, and most of all a friend to us all.
Seamus was a Marine, and went on to serve in Iraq, and was even in Fallujah during Operation Phantom Fury (IYKYK). After leaving the service he continued to serve his country as a Linguist in Washington DC. His service far extended beyond his 9-5 and he was well known for the many lives he touched during his time giving back.
His passion for his Veteran community and involvement with his local VFW will be remembered for years to come. It was Jimmy's wish to see the local VFW Post 1555 continue to grow, and his family wishes to set up a Honorary Fund that will assist with future Veterans Burial expenses in times of crisis in Jimmy's honor. All funds donated to this fundraiser will be directly donated to VFW Post 1555 for this Honorary account.
Thank you for supporting our local Veterans, and remembering Jimmy through this legacy.
