With broken hearts the Stapp’s family is deeply saddened to lose a beloved Dad, Uncle, Grandfather, Friend, Legendary Jazz Guitarist and Godly man, James (Jimmy James) Stapp. Jimmy’s wishes was to not have a Funeral or Memorial.
Jimmy was with Home Hospice and passed, so peacefully, the morning of Sunday, February 2nd of Renal Failure.
He lost his sweetheart, sole mate and our beloved Mom, Patti Stapp, July 12, 2023 of Pancreatic Cancer. Dad always said half of himself died with her. Jimmy and Patti, Dad and Mom are now whole again.
We are raising funds to payoff his final costs of comfort and medical costs. Whatever is remaining will go towards Renal Failure research.
We’ve LAUNCHED a YouTube Music Channel of Jimmy James Stapp and Patti James Stapp. By band names: JAZZ FEELINGS and previously known as King James Version, also a Jazz band.

Jazz Feelings - Their band has performed on Television, work with or for Bob Hope, Cal Jader, Tony Bennett, George Benson, Blood Sweat and Tears, USO Tours, Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe, New York, Los Angeles, music soundtrack for a Lifetime movie, Ambassador of Japan, and Governor's Convention and much more.
They released two "labeled" Jazz albums that were on the TOP 10 on the Billboard charts. The band leader is the legendary Jimmy James Stapp, a Jazz vocalist and plays electric Jazz guitar, bass and produces music arrangements.
Patti James Stapp is a Jazz vocalist, entertainer and plays percussion's. Shellie debut as a vocalist at the tender age of 6. She was fortunate to travel and has sang with the band, and played percussion's on one of their albums, and still sings professional.
They have lived from the East Coast to the West Coast and reside in places such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, California, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, Honolulu, Hawaii, Sun Valley, Idaho, Pennsylvania and New York; all while in the professional music and entertainment business full time. This gave Shellie the opportunity to study dance, theatre and vocal training from a broad variety of instructors and professionals.
