As we say goodbye to my step-dad Jimmy Ferguson, we are reminded of the warmth he brought into every room. He had a way of making everyone feel like an old friend. With his passing, his wife (my mother) Patricia Ferguson, is not only facing the loss of her partner but also a significant shift in her daily life. Jimmy was her rock, and we want to ensure she has the time and space to grieve without the immediate weight of financial stress, as he had no life insurance. We are raising funds to cover cremation and visitation services to honor Jimmy’s life and his love for his family. Anything remaining will go to immediate living expenses to help my mom cover upcoming rent, utilities, bills etc as she adjusts to this new way of life.
