On March 29th, James (“Jim”) Moser was tragically taken from his family, leaving behind a profound void that can never be filled. As the sole financial provider, his sudden passing has left his loved ones facing not only deep emotional grief, but also immediate and overwhelming financial uncertainty.

Jim was more than a husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, coach and friend—he was a source of strength, encouragement, and light to everyone who knew him. His generosity knew no limits, and his quick wit and humor had a way of lifting even the heaviest hearts. Those who knew Jim will forever remember his ability to make people smile, even in the toughest moments.

He had a deep passion for fitness and, alongside his wife Lynn, devoted his life to helping others become stronger—both physically and mentally—through Valley Isle Fitness and his work in the Maui community. Jim was a mentor, a coach, and a role model to so many, especially the young athletes who looked up to him. He believed in people, often before they believed in themselves, and his impact will continue to live on through every life he touched.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for support for the Moser family. Contributions will go directly toward funeral expenses and helping the family navigate the challenging days ahead.
