We’re rallying around Jim Carey so he can focus on getting better. I have had the benefit of working with Jim for the better part of 30 years. I stress the word “benefit.” All of us around Jim, his friends, his family, and all who have worked with him, understand how valuable it has been to have someone so talented, and more importantly, so generous with his time. Jim has always been a person that people lean on. He is always willing to answer a call, in or out of work, and lend a hand regardless of the situation. The only caveat is you may have to wait a bit, as he is likely busy helping someone else. This is who Jim is, his DNA. True to his DNA, he remained quiet, not letting on of the seriousness of his situation. Not asking for any of the help he has spent a lifetime giving. For those of you who know him, you all understand. For those of you who don’t know him, please understand this…There is no one more worthy of the consideration and generosity we are hoping for. Let's now help Jim and hopefully give him one less thing to think about after an early retirement. To Jim, stay strong, fight on, think of this not as help, but as, a well wish, a thank you, or a tribute to an incredible career.
