Jessica Rodgers unexpectedly passed away April 24th, 2026. She was a mother of 3 boys and a loving wife. She was the most loving and kind person and gave the world to all of us. She was our everything, and she had the most contagious smile. We are all incredibly lost without her, and navigating through life without her will be the worst challenge we’ve ever faced. Those who knew her understood the impact she left on everyone she’d met. Her presence always brightened up the room. She was a mom, wife, daughter, granddaughter, aunt, and friend, and without her we are all missing a piece of us. She’s done so much for everyone and life without her is unimaginable. Words can’t describe what she meant to so many people. We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and prayers.
Jessica Lynn Rodgers, age 38, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away at 1:28 am on Friday April 24, 2026, at Parkview Southwest, Fort Wayne. Born on March 29, 1988, in Columbia City, IN, she was the daughter of Timothy and Karen (Sheets) Trimmer.

Jessica attended Columbia City High School and graduated with the Class of 2006. She then attended Ivy Tech to be a Medical Assistant and graduated with the Class of 2013. In 2020, she earned a Certificate of Interior Design from New York University. On August 22, 2015, Jessica married Shane Rodgers in Plymouth, IN.

Jessica worked in retail for several years before opening her own interior design business. She had a way to turn any empty room into an elegant, warm, and lively space. She meticulously studied and analyzed every detail of interior design concepts to perfect her passion. Her work ethic applied to everything in her life; she always gave her all. Whether she was fixing, building, or solving something, once her mind was set, she was determined to see it through.

Jessica gave her everything to family and friends, and she always prioritized them as she was very family oriented. Jessica was a loving wife and generous mom, and she would do anything for her boys. Jessica would bring life to the home in every way possible. Jessica gave her love to her boys and husband and would encourage everyone to be the best.

Jessica was very passionate about bringing peace and life to her family and home. She was very creative and expressed herself through beautiful art pieces that turned the house into a home. She had a special vision to make everything she touched beautiful. She complemented her artwork by using her keen eye to thrift and antique unique designer pieces to express her creativity. Her innovative imagination also showed through her fashion, where anything she wore looked absolutely stunning.

On top of that, she had a green thumb where she nurtured indoor and outdoor plants to thrive. She paid attention to every detail, and all of the actions she took were intentional to help others. Jessica had the most caring heart, and every person she met was touched by her unmatched generosity.

Jessica loved spending time outside with her family. Whether she would be playing basketball, baseball, or sinking every bag in corn hole, what made it special was that she was with the people she loved. Jessica was extremely competitive, this small but mighty woman showed no mercy when it came winning games with her family. She dreamed for the next moment the family could make it to the beach in Holland, Michigan. She would brave the Lake Michigan waves to show off her paddle board skills or sun-bathe in the water tube.

Jessica was a member of Emmanuel Community Church, Fort Wayne.

Survivors include her husband Shane Rodgers of Fort Wayne; children Mason Saggars, Malakai Rodgers, and Keanu Rodgers, all of Fort Wayne; parents Timothy (Tammy) Trimmer of South Whitley and Karen Pierce of New Haven; siblings Mandy (John) Clendenen of Leo and James (Autumn) Crump of Hope, KS; grandparents Lee and Rosie Trimmer of Larwill.
