Jessica Schoffel (October 8, 1981-July 17, 2026) taught in the Littleton Public Schools for 22 years and left a legacy of love and hope for her students. Together with colleague and beloved friend Heather Love, one of her main initiatives was the creation of an Outdoor Classroom at Russell Street School.

The Outdoor Classroom was established in 2018 and funded by members of the Littleton community, including the Littleton Education Foundation, Russell Street School PTA, Dan Sturtz and Littleton Earthworks, Adam Ames and Barton Properties, Luis Guttierres and New England tree Masters and Bill and Peter Sturtz and Start to Finish Construction.

In memory of Jess, we will be renovating the Outdoor Classroom and installing a memorial bench to honor her contributions to the school and the Littleton community. If we receive donations that surpass the goal, we will establish the Miss Schoffel fund at Russell Street School, a memorial fund that will support the students of Littleton.
