My father, Jerry D Bradley, lived a very rough life. He spent much of it in and out of prison, but in the last year, he made a real effort to change. Jerry got sober and was working hard to be a kinder person, reaching out to people he had lost touch with and trying to make amends, showing a compassion that many never saw in his earlier years.
His passing was sudden, and the impact has brought on the reality that we will never have the closure we all needed. Our family is heartbroken, not just by the loss itself, but for also losing the chance for Jerry to continue making things right. He was on a path of change, and now that journey has been cut short.
We are raising funds to help cover the many costs that come with losing a loved one—death certificates, cremation, memorial services, travel and accommodations for his children to attend the memorial. Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, would mean so much to our family as we try to honor Jerry’s memory and come together during this difficult time.
