Please help our family in this time of need. Our father Gerald W Berger “Jerry” has been battling throat cancer for several years, going thru radiation treatments and trying to fight a good fight. We thought he had it beat until it came back again and in a very aggressive way. This time it came back stage 4 and we thought radiation treatment would help again. This wasn’t the case unfortunately. The radiation treatments caused more damage to his throat and he couldn’t eat after the damage from the radiation. During this battle Jerry could not work and the families finances have struggled. We are asking for help with paying bills that aren’t covered by insurance, and for help with medical and burial expenses. Also he was the primary income provider for our mother Brenda who is also struggling with Diabetes, dementia and Alzheimer’s. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will help us as dad is in the final stages of hospice and mom battles her ailments.
