Jerald (Jerry) Ira Askinasi, 65, of Monmouth County, New Jersey and Sheepshead Bay

Brooklyn passed away peacefully at home on August 21, 2025.

Born on February 17, 1960, Jerry was the son of the late Howard and Hermine Askinasi. He is survived by his wife, Toni Askinasi, their children (and their supportive partners) Ryan Askinasi (Amanda Nagy), Lindsay Askinasi (Fiance Greg Teeter) and Andrew Askinasi

(Maggie Maloney.) He is also survived by his brothers Barry, Steven, and Robert Askinasi;sisters-in law Linda Cross, Bonnie Askinasi and Rebecca Askinasi, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Jerry was a caring, loyal, and hardworking man who valued perseverance, dedication, and had a sense of humor that was contagious to everyone who met him. He was always ready with a good story, even if you’d heard it before.

He attended the School of Visual Arts and eventually owned and operated his own printing business in Manhattan for many years before pursuing other ventures.

Jerry’s greatest joy was spending time with his immediate and extended family. He treasured the memories of

summers in Montauk. A lifelong New York Jets fan, he shared his love of football with his family and treasured their time together.

In accordance with his wishes, Jerry will be cremated. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to his GoFundMe to give him the proper send off and celebration of life that he so deserves.
