Honoring Jenny Escobar: Help Us Fulfill Her Wish

Jenny Escobar, at 34 years old, entered the gates of heaven on January 9th, 2025, at the Little Company of Mary’s in San Pedro. She was accompanied by her sisters, Katy Escobar and Mellissa Escobar, and her parents, Vilma Escobar and Santiago Escobar.

Jenny was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy and Cerebral Palsy, which over time caused muscle weakness. Despite her disability, she was one of the most loving, happy, smartest, and strongest people we knew. Her life expectancy was 30 years, but we were fortunate enough to have her for 34.

Her passing has been one of the most difficult battles we have faced. Her body no longer was able to fight the infection in her body, which was primarily in her lungs. She was then put on life support. Shortly after, she passed away the day after.

We smile knowing that her disability no longer affects her in heaven. We know she is dancing in heaven, not in a wheelchair. We know she is singing with our other loved ones, and not struggling to talk. And we know she is not feeling any pain or discomfort.

We have appreciated every person who supported us when she was with us, and now as well. We will appreciate any type of monetary support to help lay her to rest. Jenny indicated that she wanted to go back to El Salvador, her second home. Any help you can give will mean everything and more for our baby.
May God bless each and every one of you who took the time to read this biography.
