Jean West, my dad, spent over 20 years driving trucks and hauling chemicals, rarely taking a day off or a vacation. He dedicated his life to making sure I was financially, emotionally, and spiritually set as his only child. Even though he was often absent, his sacrifices laid the foundation for my future. Jean risked his health every day, knowing the dangers of hauling chemicals, so his family could have a better life. Now, after years of hard work, he is facing cancer caused by his exposure to those chemicals, and has only a few months left. He is sleeping more and preparing for the next stage of life.

Jean is a blue collar man who owns one of the largest cattle farms in Pennsylvania, with his business reaching from Republic, PA to West Virginia, Georgia, and Florida. He is known for his generosity, always willing to help others and give the shirt off his back. Despite surviving multiple traumatic events, including being shot and several semi-truck accidents, Jean is a walking miracle who deserves respect from his community, friends, and family.

This fundraiser will help cover funeral expenses, cremation, a casket, and a plot. It will also help me travel to spend quality time with him, fulfill his last wishes, and honor him with a final ride on an 18-wheeler and a moment of silence on the CB radio.
