On July 6, 2026, our lives changed forever with the heartbreaking loss of our beloved Jazmine Alexis Bates.

Jazmine was originally from Chicago, but had built a beautiful life in Alabama while pursuing her dreams at the University of Alabama. She was on track to graduate this December, a milestone she had worked tirelessly to achieve. Her determination, ambition, and incredible work ethic inspired everyone who knew her.

If you knew Jazmine, you knew her smile could light up any room. She had a way of making everyone laugh, lifting spirits even on the hardest days. She was the kind of person you could always count on, reliable, selfless, and always willing to help anyone in need without hesitation. She touched so many lives through her kindness, loyalty, and genuine love for others.

Her passing was sudden and tragic, leaving her family, friends and everyone who loved her completely heartbroken. No family should have to face the

overwhelming emotional pain of losing someone so young while also carrying the financial burden that follows such an unimaginable loss.

We are asking for your support to help ease the financial stress associated with honoring Jazmine’s life. Donations will be transferred to her father in order to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, transportation arrangements to bring her home to Chicago, and other unexpected costs her loved ones are now facing.
