My name is Heidi Acevedo (Busik), the eldest daughter of Jay Busik. My sisters Brittnee Willams (Busik), and Breanna Buisk and I have come together during this unexpected devastating loss of our father. As we navigate our grief, we’re also facing the very real and immediate financial responsibilities that come with an unexpected passing. We are humbly asking for support to help cover cremation costs, immediate travel expenses, and cost associated with planning a celebration of life.

We plan to gather in spring 2026 in San Luis Obispo County at the beach- a time where family and friends can gather, reflect, and honor him. (More specifics to come on this later)

Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time and allow us the space to focus on healing and supporting one another.
