Honoring the Life of Javon – Please Help Our Family After a Tragic Loss.

Hi, I am creating this GoFundMe with a broken heart for my dear friend Candice. Candice works at a school and needs our help as she has no paid time off to mourn at home due to her using this time to take care of her son who is epileptic and also receives immunotherapy.

Her 16-year-old brother was tragically shot at a park and lost his life on 1/10/26. What should have been a safe and joyful place became the scene of an unthinkable tragedy. Her family is devastated and struggling to come to terms with this loss.

He was more than a victim of violence — he was a son, a brother, a friend, and someone deeply loved. His life was taken far too soon, and our hearts are shattered.

We are asking for support during this incredibly painful time to help with:

* Travel expenses so she can take her four kids home internationally to put her brother to rest.
