Honoring Jasper - a 1 in 2.3 Million Special Horse
Donation protected
I am writing to request help for my daughter and her family after the Loss of her beloved horse, Jasper.
5/30/1998-7/21/2025 Jasper, AKA Frosty Quick Stage was such a gift to our daughter, her family and this world. Please remember him in your heart. If we carry him with us, he’s never truly gone.
Our Story:
Last night, our family suffered a heartbreaking loss. Our daughter, her husband, and her two young step daughters, ages 7 and 9, had to say goodbye to Jasper, their beloved 27-year-old Quarter horse. Jasper was a beautiful boy—he was a cherished member of the family, a gentle friend, and a constant companion. He was loved beyond measure, helped my baby girl through highs and lows in life and finally getting her Happily Ever After, and was in her wedding!
Nichole poured her heart into caring and loving Jasper, every single day. These last 6 months have been difficult and expensive. After extensive treatments and therapy with local vets and Tufts, Jasper seemed to be on the road to recovery. But his health took a sudden turn and the family faced the very difficult decision to let him go. Surrounded by those who loved him most, Jasper passed away, held by Nichole and embraced by the love of her family.
Jasper's history:
When she bought Jasper in June 2018, he came with no papers, no registered name, and very little background information. There are 2.3 million registered Quarter Horses in the United States. She'd spent 2 years, 1 month and 10 days searching for his registered name, pedigree and birthdate. Frosty Quick Stage, DOB 5/30/1998
Along her research she met some great people who enjoyed talking about the history of Jasper and his family lineage.
Putting in over a hundred hours of research and networking. She finally found him. At that time, he is 22 years old and his birthday is May 30th. "Up until today, I would have told you my sweet boy was a “one in a million” horse. Now when I’m asked what Jasper is like, I can smile and say “he is a one in 2.3 million” horse".
Run free Jasper.....
Why We’re Asking for Help:
The emotional toll of losing Jasper is immense, especially for Nichole, her husband and her step-daughters, who had formed a special bond with him over the eight years he was part of their lives. In addition to the heartbreak, the family is now navigating the significant costs of Jasper’s recent medical treatments, therapies, and end-of-life care, cremation expenses, etc.
How Your Donation Will Help:
Your support will help Nichole and her family help to defray some of the expenses:
Outstanding veterinary bills from months of Jasper’s medical treatments and care at Tufts; Final expenses and arrangements for Jasper’s passing; Helping ease the financial burden of some of the debt incurred while the family grieves and heals.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will mean the world to this loving family during such a difficult time.
Thank You
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any help you can give.
Jasper was truly one in 2.3 million—and your kindness will help his legacy live on.
