It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of my brother, Jason Sam Rivera, a beloved son, brother, friend, proud Marine veteran, and loving father. Our family is navigating an unimaginable loss as we work to bring him home to Chicago from Virginia to be surrounded by his family and friends.

Jason touched many lives through his kindness, strength, humor, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. Above all, he adored his two children and took great pride in being their father.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for support to help our family as we make arrangements to celebrate and honor Jason’s life. Every contribution, prayer, message, and share means more to us than words can express.
