On Thursday, March 13th, our community unexpectedly lost an incredible young man. Jared Hoekstra of Wittenberg (son of Pete & Colleen Hoekstra) was a genuine friend. His absence in the lives of those who loved him has left a space that can never be filled. If you knew Jared, you know he was someone who never hesitated to lend a helping hand in any way he could — and typically with a smile on his face. I’m hoping to help raise funds to help cover the costs associated with his unanticipated passing & give back to Jared in the only way I can.
