In March 2022, our beloved Jardaia Mason-Owens underwent a life-changing heart transplant, marking the beginning of a hopeful new chapter in her journey. Tragically, her path took an unforeseen turn when she contracted the flu in January 2024. Despite seeking medical attention and receiving treatment, the prescribed medication unfortunately compromised her fragile heart transplant while she awaited another chance at life.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Jardaia's passing. She fought with incredible strength and resilience until the very end, but, sadly, she did not make it to recovery or receive another heart in time. Jardaia understood the gravity of her condition and had taken steps to provide for her family's future by purchasing life insurance. However, fate had other plans, and she did not live long enough for the policy to mature.

Jardaia's love for her family knew no bounds, and she would never want to burden them with the financial strain of her final expenses. As her family navigates this unimaginable loss, we are coming together to offer our support during this time of grief.
