Jaquiel Taylor was a beloved brother, son, and father who touched the lives of everyone around him. He passed away on March 5th, 2026, leaving behind six brothers, a loving mother, and his child who shares his birth name. Jaquiel was known for his infectious smile and the positive energy he brought wherever he went, earning him the nickname “Smiley.”

Growing up, Jaquiel loved playing basketball and often dreamed of playing for Duke University. He was dedicated to his education, making the honor roll every year throughout grade school. As he grew older, Jaquiel cherished time with family and welcomed friends as if they were family too. His warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

We are raising funds to help cover Jaquiel’s funeral expenses and to support his son during this difficult time. We hope to make his son’s next birthday a special one and provide for other needs as they arise.
