My unarmed son was shot 11 times in the back.

My name is Tyesha Moody, and I am the mother of Jaque Rabon.

On January 22, 2026, my son Jaque Rabon was shot and killed. He was unarmed. There were witnesses present. He was shot 11 times in the back.

No mother should ever have to live with this pain. No family should have to bury their child this way.

Jaque was more than what happened to him — he was my son. He was loved, he had a future, and his life mattered. Our family is devastated and searching for answers and accountability.

This tragedy has also placed a severe hardship on our family. As his mother, I have been emotionally impacted in ways that are impossible to fully describe, and I have not been able to work while fighting for justice for my son.

We are raising funds to fight for justice for Jaque. These funds will help cover:
