On August 16th, my mother Janette Boisvert passed away peacefully with the sunrise. Janette was the heart and soul of our family—a devoted wife, loving mom, cherished daughter, sister, and friend. Her fiery red hair matched her spirit: she was smart, sharp, and a true fighter. Janette faced years of health challenges, including Alpha1 (a genetic condition affecting the liver and lungs), COPD, heart failure, and ultimately liver and kidney failure. Through it all, she remained the backbone of our family, deeply loved by everyone who knew her.
Janette is survived by my dad John, myself and my sister Jenelle, my brother-in-law Gabe, her mother Diane, and her sister Karen and family. Her wish was to be cremated and to stay close to family. We are raising funds to help cover cremation costs, travel, and support for our family as we navigate this difficult transition. Your support means the world to us and helps us honor Janette’s wishes and memory. We are deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and continued support from our community during this time.
Thank you for helping us give Janette the farewell she deserves and for standing by our family when we need it most.
