Jamie Delayne Booker, daughter of Ronald Booker and Jo Ann Sorrell, was incredibly spirited and a bit of a troublemaker, but her heart was always with her family. She would drop everything to be there if you needed her, and she cared for so many loved ones in their final years. Not even her own disability slowed her down. She was like a strong Texas wind sweeping over the plains—unstoppable once she made up her mind. If you tried to stand in her way, you’d either be swept up in in the whirlwind or left behind. But the depth of her love was endless. Her beautiful blue eyes told you everything you needed to know about her caring soul, and her hugs were always full and warm. She overcame hardships that would have shaken most people’s faith, but she held onto hers, never afraid to walk on water with Jesus. I see her smile shining and her eyes sparkling in the light of Jesus. Her suffering is over, but she will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Sarah and Heather, her baby sister Christy, her big brother Paul Booker, her five grandkids—Alayla, Thomas, Elijah, Elizabeth, and Kimberly—her cousin Dana, her companion Randy, and so many more whose lives she touched.

We are asking for assistance with cremation costs, travel for her big brother who is disabled and needs to move to Georgia from Arkansas, and a celebration of life in Texas (date will be posted for everyone who wants to attend) so family and friends can gather to honor her memory. This will allow us a little time to grieve without stressing about the simple things. The main concern is helping her big brother, who will be unable to live without her financial support. This gift will be dispersed honestly and in God’s will. We are all extremely grateful for any assistance you are able to provide. From the depths of our hearts, thank you.
