This fund is to honor my dad, Jamie Candelino, who passed away after an incredibly hard fight with metastatic melanoma.

My dad was the kind of person who was always there when it mattered most. He was a great friend to so many, but to me, he was everything. He never missed one of my hockey games, and the bond we had is something I’ll carry with me forever. Some of my favorite memories with him were out on the water. He loved his boat, his Sea Ray Sundancer, “Frankie Says So,” and gave us so many unforgettable summers with family and friends. He also had a huge heart for animals, especially dogs. Over the years we had many, but Smokie, his Scottish Terrier, was truly special to him.

We created this fund for anyone who wants to honor him. In lieu of flowers, donations will go toward a meaningful cause in his name, something that reflects who he was and what he cared about.
