It is with a heavy heart to announce that our dear father, James McClain Sr., passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2025, peacefully in his sleep. Although our Dad was in the fight of his life in managing multiple health conditions, he still smiled every day through his pain, made jokes during his spare time, blasted Motown soul music during his lunch hour, and most of all, continued to love God, his family, and his retired life.

Many have reached out with heartfelt condolences and asked about ways to help. Therefore, we have created a GoFundMe account that will assist with all transition and funeral needs being organized by his wife of 55 years, Theresa McClain, and surviving sons and daughter: James, Myron, and Melinda.

The funeral will take place on Thursday, March 26th, which will include a military honors tribute where Dad will rest at Sunset Lawn alongside his beloved late son, Michael McClain.
