My name is Carlaneisha Hudson. My husband, James Hudson, recently passed unexpectedly, leaving behind a wife, children, mother, and lots of other grieving family members.
The purpose of this GoFundMe is to provide support to his children as well as upcoming bills and unexpected expenses that may arise after James's passing.
Obituary
James Bernard Hudson Jr., 43, went home to be with the Lord on December 5, 2025, at Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.
James was born on July 3, 1982, to Cheryl Briggs and James Bernard Hudson Sr. at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley, California. He was a graduate of Castlemont High School in Oakland, CA. Over the last several years, he worked as a Patient Service Rep at The Polyclinic/Optumcare Washington.
James was a devoted husband and father.
He was the father of eight children - Semaj’e, Khloe, Kayla, James III, Jamal, Zaire, Kameron, and Kaiden. He loved all of his children unconditionally.
James later married Carlaneisha Hudson, and together they built a home centered on nurturing their children, supporting one another, and cherishing every moment shared.
James will be remembered as a kind, steady man. Always willing to help, quick to encourage, and defined by the unwavering love he shared with his wife and children.
James is survived by his wife, Carlaneisha Hudson; his children Semaj’e, Khloe, Kayla, James III, Jamal, Zaire Ticeson, Kameron, and Kaiden Hudson; his mother, Cheryl Briggs; mother-in-love Carla Smith Hawkins (Mr. George); grandmother Dorothy Hudson; sister-in-law Carletta Jackson (Eddie); brother-in-law Karl Howard Jr. (Christina); one niece, T’Kaiya Jackson; four nephews, Braylen and Jaylen Jackson, Karl III, and Christian Howard, as well as a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
James was preceded in death by James Bernard Hudson Sr. (father), Minnie Zelle Jasper (grandmother), Leo Jasper (uncle), and Sandra Flowers (aunt).
Viewing service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 16th, at Care Cremation & Burial in Las Vegas, with cremation of the remains to follow.
