The sudden and tragic loss of James Bremner has left all of us heartbroken and devastated. As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we also want to come together to honor James' legacy by helping support the future of his beloved three-year-old son, Teddy.

A personal message from James’ wife, Kate:

“The first thing I noticed about James was how unashamedly weird he was. To some he was playing the fool. To me he was playing a strategic act to make you drop your walls, and let love and light in.His endless whimsy and laughter was a gift to all who knew and loved him.

James forever changed my heart with his radical love. He also changed me forever with the gift of our son, Teddy.

Teddy is James’ heart personified. A ray of sunshine and sweetness. Every conversation we had about Teddy ended with James declaring, “that sweet boy!”

I hope that Teddy will remember his father’s unending adoration and admiration of him. But, the truth is memory will never make up for the loss of his weird and wonderful father.

So, I’m asking you all to help me keep James’ memory and love alive for Teddy as he grows into a weird and wonderful man. Please share with us a memory, a recipe, or a hug.

Most of all, I think James would want Teddy to know that his sweetness and light are a gift. And that his pain and sorrow is not a burden to be borne alone.”
