Hello, I am Deja Lewis the long term girlfriend of James Blackwell son Phoenix Blackwell, who passed away on the 29th of May. My father-in-love was kind, loving, and helpful. He always lent a helping hand no matter the situation. He would smile and dance even in pain. But unfortunately, he passed away due to cancer, which he had for about 4 years. He had chronic back pain due to a fracture and slurred speech due to enamel issues. Later, he was diagnosed with mild dementia. Despite all the pain he went through, he left happily. He left behind 4 kids, a wife, a daughter-in-law, and many friends and family. The family is asking for a donation of $1,000. He did not have life insurance due to a number of things, but we would like to give him a service of some sort. Anything helps, even $1 would be appreciated.
