My heart hurts and I need help from the community, family, and friends. My best friend tragically lost her beautiful son, Jakeb. She needs time to be with her son and herself. I am asking to fund her life while she deals with the hardest thing any parent will ever have to do...live after their child. She cannot work and will likely be unable to support herself for some time.

Jakeb was my friend. His loss is felt far and wide and deep inside. He was one of those people who touched your heart as soon as you met him and he touched mine. He had this effect on everyone. He was authentic, spirited, wise beyond his years and my friend.

His loss is being felt by many, many people. Jakeb was cherished and loved and he knew that.
